Scholarships & Aid

We accept several scholarships through Step Up for Students:

  • Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO)
K-12 students regardless of household income, who are residents of Florida and eligible to enroll in a K-12 public school, can receive a scholarship worth an average of $7,800 to attend a private school that best meets their academic needs.
  • Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA)
Students from age 3 through grade 12 or age 22 (whichever comes first) who have a specific diagnosis or public school IEP, regardless of their family’s income. Scholarship amount varies according to grade, county of residence and disability, but is generally between $9,000 - $10,000 for most students.
  • Hope Scholarship
The Hope Scholarship is available to Florida public school students in grades K-12 who have experienced reported and documented incidents of bullying, regardless of their family’s income. Bullying includes harassment, threats, intimidation, hazing, battery, physical attack, kidnapping, sexual harassment and sexual assault.

Any difference between the student’s assigned tuition and the student’s Step Up scholarship award is the family’s responsibility. If this out-of-pocket cost will be a financial hardship for your family, you can apply for need-based financial aid through FACTS Management. This aid is limited and available on a first-come first-served basis. There is a $40 application fee to apply.
