We offer two distinct high school pathways:

Academic "Remediation" Pathway: This pathway focuses on addressing academic deficiencies and providing targeted interventions to help students "catch up" to grade level. Through personalized instruction, appropriate accommodations, and support, students work to master essential skills and concepts needed for academic success. Students are placed in this pathway when their goals and their ISP team's goals include post-secondary education.
Vocational Pathway: This pathway is recommended for students whose personal and ISP goals do not include post-secondary education. These students are primarily focused on developing job skills and improving their employability immediately following graduation. In this pathway, students continue to hone their basic academic skills, but with a "real life" focus.

All students enrolled at the LSA high school have the opportunity to participate in the Vocational Rehabilitation "work-based learning experience" program, regardless of which pathway they participate in.

Following 4 yeras of traditional high school education, and/or completion of diploma credit requirements, students are eligible to join the LSA transition class. In this program, students finish honing essential life skills they will need to become independent adults. The program includes a significant amount of hands-on learning and community outings in order give students the opportunity to practice in the real world.

Dual Enrollment & Scholarships

Dual Enrollment: Eligible students can earn college credits while still in high school.
Scholarship Assistance: Our team assists students in finding and applying for scholarships to support their educational journey.
